About Us

Kamhi World is the authority on creating designer-quality talking products based on the most popular licensed characters in film and television. Founded in 2003 by Jay Kamhi, the company created a new and revolutionary line of talking toys using advanced audio technology.

The first product release, Spice Mice, a line of 18 talking plush mice, sold nearly two million units. The clever characters garnered national attention, appearing three times on Live with Regis and Kelly, landing on The Tonight Show, and were awarded "Favorite Toy" by Family Circle magazine in 2004. Entrepreneur magazine did a full-page article on the mice and their creator, Jay Kamhi.

Expanding on its success, Kamhi World acquired patent-pending rights to a "talking pen" and applied the concept to the hit movie Napoleon Dynamite. The Napoleon Dynamite Talking Pen was a best-seller in major chains across the United States, and was the subject of articles in Newsweek, New York Newsday, The Washington Post, and hundreds of other publications. Talking Pens featuring characters from Family Guy and Nacho Libre followed with equal success.

Popular and unique talking figures were produced from collaborating with award-winning sculptor Paul Brooke. The first figure was the Napoleon Dynamite Talking Doll, which was extensively praised by mainstream media and Internet fan/collector sites. Kamhi World has teamed with Mr. Brooke for two more talking figures—an Andy doll from The 40 Year-Old Virgin, and a unique keychain featuring the title character from Nacho Libre. These dolls have established the company as a respected voice in the retail and entertainment communities.

Additional licensed properties from Fox, Paramount, DreamWorks, Universal, Nickelodeon and New Line Cinema have broadened the Talking Pen line. These studios have commented publicly on Kamhi World's professionalism and its marketing expertise.

Major retailers including Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, KB Toys, Spencer Gifts, Linens 'n Things, Brooke's Pharmacy, CVS, Staples and thousands of others across the United States, Canada, UK and Australia carry the Talking Pens and Figures. Top corporate buyers for these chains count on Kamhi World to provide their stores with the hottest new talking products. In 2007, Kamhi World released a whole line of Shrek Talking Pens in conjunction with the Shrek The Third movie release in the summer. Kamhi World also produced a line of Simpsons talking pens to celebrate the long awaited movie The Simpsons.

In 2008 Kamhi World teamed with Disney to release 10 new SINGING pens for their best-selling Hannah Montana and High School Musical franchises. These pens proved to be a huge success not only in the USA and Canada, but internationally in Spain, Brazil, Australia and even Poland!

Products slated for next year include the hugely popular The Jonas Brothers, as well as some surprise announcements that will continue to make your cash register "sing" in 2009.
